Rafe Esquith, a teacher who<br />

his students achieve their<br />
dreams, brought a dozen of<br />
his fifth-graders to perform<br />
songs <strong>and</strong> Shakespeare<br />
soliloquies for the crowd at<br />
the awards dinner. The 10year-old<br />
kids go to a school<br />
in a very poor section of Los<br />
Angeles, but that hasn’t<br />
stopped Esquith’s past<br />
students from graduating<br />
from institutions such as Yale<br />
Law School.<br />
