Installation of Borehole heat exchangers To make the installation of the borehole heat exchanger easier, ist is filled with water before being installed. Even for dry boreholes the BHE must be filled with water before the borehole is grouted at the latest, to prevent it from rising up. It should be checked wether an additional weight is required at the foot of the BHE.
