ian Cuppet ‘92 has been named vice president of sales for ScanSource, a<br />
leading value-added distributor of communications products. Cuppet formerly<br />
served as director of business development for the company.<br />
LeCarla Gardner ‘93 wrote in to say, “Hi All! Don’t see many former<br />
93 classmates anymore! I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for the last 13 years,<br />
after teaching for two years at Alger B. Wilkins. My youngest daughter is in the<br />
fourth grade and my oldest is finishing eighth grade. I’ve been involved in direct<br />
sales for the last nine years, and currently I am a Tastefully Simple Consultant.<br />
My husband, Keith, works for the N.C. State Highway Patrol. Our family is very<br />

Camisha bell ‘95 recently received her Post-Master’s Certificate in<br />
95 advanced school counseling. Her next plan of action will be a Ph.D.<br />
in higher education, an add-on degree in administration, or another master’s<br />
degree in school psychology. She says, “I am still trying to decide what I want<br />
to be when I grow up.”<br />
<strong>An</strong>drea Hairr ‘95 received National Board (teaching) Certification in<br />
November 2009. <strong>An</strong>drea is an Exceptional Children’s Teacher at Stedman<br />
Elementary School. She and her husband, Kevin, are the proud parents of<br />
daughter Jana and son Kollin.<br />
Kellie Campbell ‘96 graduated in May from East Carolina <strong>University</strong><br />
96 with a master’s degree in library science. Earning a 4.0 GPA and<br />
graduating summa cum laude, Kellie was also a Community-Oriented Library<br />
Recruitment Scholarship (COLRS) recipient. She worked full-time during her<br />
studies as a media center coordinator at Overhills High School in Harnett County.<br />
Summer 2010 will see new beginnings and expected travels for Kellie and her<br />
family as they move to Italy due to her husband’s job relocation.<br />
Madison “ridge” Johnson, II ‘01 CPA/AbV recently earned the<br />
01 Accredited in Business Valuation designation and is currently working in<br />
the Forensic, Litigation Support and Valuation Services department of the<br />
accounting firm Dixon Hughes PLLC in Charleston, S.C.<br />
Glen W. Murray ‘04 Junior Achievement of Sarasota County, Sarasota,<br />
04 Fla., has announced the appointment of Murray to its Board of Directors.<br />
Murray is the director of golf at the Ritz-Carlton Members Club.<br />
Jennifer Patrick-Swift ‘05 was recently hired as the new softball coach<br />
05 at Seton Hill <strong>University</strong>. Patrick-Swift previously served as a softball coach<br />
for several universities, including Washington & Jefferson College, Chowan<br />
<strong>University</strong>, and York College.<br />
Tom bergamine ‘07 recently received the Order of the Long Leaf Pine<br />
07 Award for his lifetime of service to the community in law enforcement. For<br />
the past 32 years, Bergamine has worked his way up in the City of Fayetteville,<br />
N.C. force, beginning in 1978.<br />

Shannon Alford ‘08 was recently hired as resident director at Peace<br />
College in Raleigh, N.C.<br />
Marc Halcomb ‘08 recently transferred from the Florida Department of<br />
Juvenile Justice to the Department of Children and Families as a child<br />
protective investigator.<br />
Matthew Horvath ‘08 is the new head golf professional at Southern Pines<br />
Golf Club. He was previously assistant pro at Little River in Southern Pines, N.C.<br />
Mike Dooda ‘09 has been named the assistant golf professional at<br />
09 Little River Golf Resort in Southern Pines, which is in North Carolina’s<br />
Top 100 listing.<br />
