Dear Parents/Guardians,<br />
Welcome to the 2009 – 2010 season of the <strong>Morris</strong> <strong>Hills</strong> High School Scarlet Knights <strong>Boys</strong><br />
<strong>Basketball</strong> team! To help you become familiar with our Booster <strong>Club</strong>, a list of the major<br />
activities we sponsor is listed below:<br />
� General and executive Booster <strong>Club</strong> meetings<br />
� Snack stand at home games<br />
� Video taping of games<br />
� Team dinners throughout the season. Pasta dinners are scheduled for Dec 18 th and Feb 5 th and<br />
we will be holding a booster club meeting at 7 PM on both nights.<br />
� School Display Case<br />
� Can Shake on 1/24/2010.<br />
� Senior Night is 2/23/2010 (senior players and parents recognized at the final home game)<br />
� Youth Feeder Nights - local recreation/CYO teams invited to attend any game free of charge<br />
to promote interest in <strong>Morris</strong> <strong>Hills</strong> basketball<br />
� Candy sale fundraiser, distributed on the December 7 th meeting – money due by Dec 18 th .<br />
� Dine to Donate Night at Hot Rod’s, Jan 6 th and 7 th .<br />
� Free Throw Contest – pledge per made free throw – goal of $25 per player – Dec 29 th .<br />
� Half Time Half Court Shot - $1 per attempt.<br />
� Donation to <strong>Morris</strong> <strong>Hills</strong> Home & School Association Tricky Tray<br />
� Cheerleader Appreciation Night on 2/18/2010, second to the last home game<br />
� <strong>Basketball</strong> Banquet – March 15 th , 7pm, Rockaway Hilton.<br />
� Senior Scholarship Awards/Gifts<br />
This packet includes important information for the season - read it over, especially the By-Laws<br />
and Scholarship Requirements. If you have not already done so, please return the Booster <strong>Club</strong><br />
form and membership fee by Friday, December 11th. Booster fees can be paid at the Parent and<br />
Coach meeting on December 7 th or can be sent to:<br />

The following is required of ALL basketball families:<br />
• $40.00 Booster <strong>Club</strong> fee payable to “<strong>Morris</strong> <strong>Hills</strong> <strong>Boys</strong> <strong>Basketball</strong> Boosters.” We ask<br />
that you hand in your booster club form and fee at the Parent and Coach meeting on<br />
December 7 th .<br />
• Parents to work a minimum of two shifts at the snack stand (see schedule hanging up).<br />
• Players to work the can shakes on January 24 th …more information to follow.<br />
• A donation of one case of Gatorade, which you can bring to any home game.<br />
• A donation of baked goods (or any other specialty) to the snack stand is appreciated at<br />
any home game.<br />
• The <strong>Basketball</strong> Banquet will be held in March 15th, 7pm, Rockaway Hilton.<br />
