Software Engineering
• CHESS
intecs is the technical coordinator of the CHESS
(Composition with guarantees for High-integrity Embedded
Software componentS assembly) ARTEMIS
project. Objective of the project is to study and evaluate
Model-Driven Engineering techniques for analysis
and verification of dependability, safety and security
properties.
• ASSERT
ASSERT (Automated proof-based System and Software
Engineering for Real-Time applications) was an EC
FP6 IP aiming at the identification of reference architectures
and standardized building blocks that can be
composed, tailored and verified in open frameworks.
• HRT-UML and PRIDE
The projects HRT-UML (Hard-Real-Time UML) and
PRIDE ("Ambiente di PRogettazione Integrato per
Sistemi Dependable"), co-founded by ASI, have produced
an integrated environment based on UML for
the development of "hard-real-time" and
"dependable" systems.
Process Modelling
• METRICOS
METRICOS, co-founded by Regione Sardegna, is
aimed at the study and experimentation of techniques
for the collection, analysis and utilisation of metrics
related to the software development process.
• COOPER
COOPER (COnsortium Ontology knowledge based
Process for Enterprise Rationalisation) is a project cofounded
by Regione Campania. Its objective is to
study and develop models and tools supporting the
cooperation between enterprises associated in consortia.
Earth Observation and GIS
• GENESIS
GENESIS (GENeric European Sustainable Information
Space for Environment) is a EC FP7 project whose
objective is the provision of solutions for environmental
monitoring systems supporting the implementation
of the principal European directives and recommendations.
Research & Development
intecs contributed to many R&D projects, in collaboration with major Italian & European Universities and
Research Centres, in order to maintain up-to-date its competencies and experiment innovative technological
solution in close cooperation with major Industries.
• ORCHESTRA
ORCHESTRA (Open Architecture and Spatial Data
Infrastructure for Risk Management) was a EC FP6
IP aimed at designing a service oriented spatial data
infrastructure enabling effective strategies for risk
reduction and emergency operations.
ORCHESTRA is a Service Oriented Architecture
(SOA) based on OGC and ISO standards.
• GOUVERNe
GOUVERNe was a EC FP5 project aimed at designing
and prototyping a Decision Support System
(DSS) for improved management of underground
water resources. intecs focused on the use of Geographical
Information Systems.
Communications
• SANDRA
SANDRA (Seamless Aeronautical Networking
through integration of Data links, Radios, and Antennas)
is an EC FP7 project aiming at the study and
development of an infrastructure for improved aeronautical
communication during landing. The communications,
based on the WiMax technology, will allow
the exchange of information related to airport services.
• IPERMOB
IPERMOB, co-founded by Regione Toscana, is aimed
at the development of an urban information
system for the monitoring and management of intown
mobility. The project include a demonstration
system in the surroundings of Pisa Airport for the
management of car flows and parking areas.
Surveillance and Control
• POSTER
POSTER (Piattaforma Open-source per Sistemi di
TElecontRollo e acquisizione dati), co-founded by
Regione Sardegna, is aimed at the study and experimentation
of an Open Source platform for the development
of Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition
(SCADA) systems.
