There’s Some Monkey Business Going On Here
We want to thank a number of people who have supported us. Dr Shirley
McGreal, founder of the International Primate Protection League (IPPL),
stood with us from the very beginning. Dr Jane Goodall provided us
inspiration when we much needed it. Laxman Adhikari, Dr Ravi S Aryal and
Shree Ram Subedi helped designing a list of contents. Thank you Jiggy Gaton
for our logo and document design, Sherap Sherpa for designing campaign
materials, and Manoj Gautam and colleagues at Roots and Shoots for keeping
the flame burning. Apart from a number of wildlife specialists who were
courageous enough to speak out against the misuse of Nepalese monkeys, we
want to express our appreciation to the countless journalists who exposed
the actions of US laboratories and their local counterparts. We hope
colleagues and journalists will continue to stand by us - Nepal’s monkeys
deserve it!
Apart from the mentioned sources we have retrieved information from the
following websites: www.citesnepal.org and www.ippl.org
Sincerely,
Mangal Man Shakya
