Abstract<br />

Two Nepalese organizations, in<br />

collaboration with two US State funded<br />

research centers, have established<br />

rhesus macaque farming and breeding<br />

centers in Nepal for conducting biomedical<br />

and possibly bio-terrorism<br />

research. The founder populations are<br />

being taken from the wild by the<br />
