Introduction:
Cooper Crouse-Hinds Commercial Products is pleased to announce
the addition of another great labor saving product into the already
broad line of EMT/IMC/Rigid fittings family of products – Steel Conduit
Hangers with a combination tri-head bolt and threaded hole for quick
and easy ONE-HAND INSTALLATION. These new conduit and pipe
hangers add to our broad line of straps and clamps which provide
mechanical support to conduit and raceway systems.
Product Information:
These hangers are made from zinc plated carbon steel and are UL and
cUL Listed for use with ½” - 2” EMT conduit and/or 3/8” – 2” Rigid/IMC
conduit trade sizes. They can be used for either horizontal or vertical installations.
They have an extruded threaded hole and are supplied with a round-headed bolt. The
threaded hole eliminates the need for a nut to secure- saving time and hassles. No more
clumsy two-handed installations. No more looking for dropped or lost nuts. The threaded hole
allows for quick and easy one-handed installation by tightening the head on the ¼ - 20 bolt
with a slotted, #2 Phillips or #2 Robertson combination drive.

Catalog, Pricing, and Ordering Information:
The steel hanger with extruded hole & bolt offering uses the same base hanger and pipe
numbering system as our traditional steel hanger offering. To specify the threaded hole/one
hand installation model simply add the suffix “X” to the catalog number.

Published distributor net prices match our traditional hanger offering and align with the
published prices of our competitors. These new hangers with threaded hole and bolt have
been added to product group 144, so, if a distributor already has product group discount
loaded no additional work is required. Simply add them to their next stock order and the
material will be appropriately discounted off the face of the invoice. Net specific discounts can
be loaded, if required.

Pricing will be added to the next Commercial Distributor and Trade price books, but is also
included in the table below for your convenience.

Selling Strategy & Materials:
Conduit hangers are high volume product stocked and sold by every distributor. The addition
of this new family expands our current offering and allows the contractor customer to choose
the style of hanger they prefer from the same reliable source.
These hangers are currently in stock and, if required, product samples are available from the
Distribution Center. Order them through the Customer Service Department using standard
product sample ordering procedures. They will be included in the next reprinting of the
Commercial Products catalog.
Conclusion:
The securing of a stock position for this new offering is strictly a relationship play. This is a
non-emotional commodity item. Use the strength of your relationships and the strength of the
