Choice of performance packages. With five high performance engines
ranging between 101hp and 136hp to choose from, you will find there
is an MXU MAXXUM PRO tractor tailored to your requirements.
These engines deliver the performance to handle whatever you expect
of your tractor.
Four-valve technology. The MXU110PRO, 125PRO and 135PRO engines
feature common rail technology with four valves per cylinder and electronic
fuel management. Common rail fuel systems ensure ultimate fuel economy
and smooth running. Although all tractors in this range are extremely
quiet, the sound of MXU MAXXUM PRO diesel engines is distinctive – it’s
the sound of high performance and quality engineering.
Management systems. Power Management is standard on the
MXU110PRO, 125PRO and 135PRO to give you up to twenty six
additional horsepower during PTO operation or up to fifteen additional
horsepower when hauling heavy loads on the road; further enhancing
their amazing power-to-weight ratio.
Constant Engine Speed Management allows the operator to program two
engine speed where PTO speed is imperative regardless of load,
ensuring smooth operation of the implement.

Versatile PTO performance
Case IH has a very clear picture of the demands of modern farming and
how tractors need to be equipped. Each Maxxum Pro is designed for a
wide range of duties, all you have to decide is the degree of automation
you feel comfortable with. The choice of transmissions reflects the
versatility of the MXU MAXXUM PRO range.
Powershuttle. All models are equipped with a left hand shuttle, which
enables efficient direction changes without use of the clutch, helping to
increase the productivity of MXU MAXXUM PRO tractors on loader duties
or simplifying the headland turn sequence. The shuttle incorporates a
memory function that recalls the previous selected reverse or forward
speed to assist in efficient operation.
Semi Powershift. The highly advanced 16 x 16 Semi Powershift features
eight changes on the move without clutching and the advantage of field
and road modes to automatically shift up and down gears to maximise
output.
A further sophistication is the Multicontroller that integrates transmission
control into the right hand armrest.
50kph. Semi Powershift models can be specified with a 17th gear
to let you travel effortlessly along roads at up to 50kph, where legislation
permits.
Highly efficient PTO. 540/540E/1000rpm speeds are available
for the rear PTO. The PTO is integrated into the tractor’s automation
systems and features progressive starting for high inertia equipment.
Automatic engagement/disengagement is controlled by the movements of
the hitch. External fender-mounted PTO control buttons are standard for
improved operator convenience.
Select the level of sophistication best suited to your needs. Multicontroller incorporates transmission shifting, linkage operation, headland sequencing and electro-hydraulic remote
valve controls into the right hand armrest.

Excellent manoeuvrability is the key objective of these driveline enhancements,
letting you take full advantage of your new MXU MAXXUM PRO’s awesome
engine performance. These are powerful features for faster and more
responsive operation without compromising on safety or stressing the
operator. In a nutshell, these are cost-effective systems designed to
increase speed and efficiency.
Automatic 4WD / Differential lock. Traction management is available
on all MXU MAXXUM PRO models. With controls to switch between
manual and automatic mode, the operator is able to harness true
traction with both mounted and trailed equipment.
A tighter turning circle. MXU MAXXUM PRO tractors
have an extremely small turning radius for their size.

Front axle suspension. Available on all MXU MAXXUM PRO’s,
electronically-controlled front axle suspension improves ride comfort at the
same time as providing more control. Less bounce is experienced when
travelling at speed with mounted implements, or manoeuvring with a loader.
At lower speeds, up to 5% more traction can be gained with this
system – ideal for ploughing.
Powerful all-wheel braking. Very low pedal effort is needed with
these heavy duty, maintenance-free, oil immersed disc brakes.
Front brakes and a trailer air brake system are fitted to 50kph models for
additional braking power.
Steering fenders give a 30% increase in
steering angle for clearance at narrow track settings.
Air braking system provides powerful
stopping for high speed trailer operations.

MXU MAXXUM PRO tractors are delivered ready to take on whatever
work you have got lined up for them. The hydraulics systems are designed
to deliver massive lifting power at the same time as making life
straightforward and stress-free for the operator.
113l/min supply. A high capacity pressure flow compensating, variable
displacement piston pump delivers up to 113l/min available through a power
beyond port or up to 80l/min being supplied to any single remote valve.
A completely separate hydraulic pump delivers 40l/min to the steering
system on MXU MAXXUM PRO tractors, giving a total vehicle flow of
153l/min, so maximum flow is always maintained to the main hydraulic
circuit, even when operating a loader.
EHC draft controls. MXU MAXXUM PRO tractors are available with
Electronic Hitch Control (EHC) to automatically adjust the height of the
hitch according to the draft load.
Headland management control up to 28 headland
related functions can be stored and recalled.
Electronic remote valves precisely control
delivery rate and operating time.
The height limiter, position control quick raise and lower and wheelslip
control are all provided to improve tractor productivity. The system is
virtually self explanatory.
Front hitch and PTO. Boost productivity even further by operating
front and rear end implement combinations simultaneously.
MXU MAXXUM PRO’s are available with Cat II front linkages and a
1000rpm PTO fully integrated into the tractor with a maximum
lift capacity of 3700kg.
Electronic remote valves are standard on Multicontroller versions
allowing the oil flow rate and the time period of valve operation to be set
for each individual remote valve. In addition the function of two valves are
combined on an electronic joystick for ease of operation.
Headland management control. Headland manoeuvring has never been
easier. You can record up to twenty eight separate moves to be replayed
individually or as a sequence. Linkage position, engine speed, transmission
ratio and electronically controlled remotes can all be managed with this
system. Auto 4WD/Diff Lock and Auto PTO controls also aid the simplicity
of headland turns.
Hitch Ride Control system absorbs the
bouncing of mounted implements.

MXU MAXXUM PRO’s use CAN-Bus technology to link the tractor’s main
components. This system is ISO-compatible so it can even recognise
implements from other manufacturers.
Commanding visibility. Step up into the MXU MAXXUM PRO cab and you
will be amazed at the view. The doors on both sides of the cab are quite
literally uninterrupted panels of glass, wrapped inwards towards the steps
to provide stability and reduce noise. Once you are seated, the lower
linkage is clearly in sight and thanks to the four-post design of the cab,
there really is an unrestricted view in every direction.
Luxury seat and cab suspension. The driver’s seat features swivel and
lumbar support to ensure the driver is always comfortable. Cab suspension
is also available to provide the ultimate in protection from shock loads.
Instrument cluster with integrated performance monitor. A quick
glance is all you need to keep operating at peak performance. Information
on hitch related functions and diagnostic codes can also be displayed.
A Performance Monitor and radar are available, recording information
on area worked, work rate, wheel slip % and distance travelled.
Calm business environment. With a low noise level of 72dB(A),
an MXU MAXXUM PRO cab is one of the quietest and safest “offices
in the field”. Heating and climate controls, large telescopic mirrors and
a powerful lighting package mean this tractor can operate continuously
no matter what the weather, or the time of day.

SURVEYOR CAB, CONTROLS, ACCESSORIES
Loader controls. The loader is part of the tractor and not a retrofit as
offered by other manufacturers, so the controls are integrated into the
armrest of the driver’s seat. The mid-mount valves are connected directly to
the Multi-Quick coupler, ensuring fast attachment and removal of the loader.
