TOPAZ MEDIA FRAMEWORK
TOPAZ will transfer media from anywhere in the environment to the post production system ready for a particular
job. In-line transforming, re-wrapping and transcodes of dierent le types are automatically performed so that
content can move between FCP and Avid systems. All the essence media and metadata related to a particular
project is saved in TOPAZ. When required, TOPAZ restores the hi-resolution source material to the NLE keeping all
transfer complexity hidden from the operator. Once editing is complete TOPAZ manages the naming, saving and
transfer of all the new nished sequences to be ready for presentation, playout and re-purposing.
that manages assets from ingest, to playout, to archive library, across NLE’s and storage systems. TOPAZ is scalable and fully upgradeable to INDIGO
MAM. Flexible tape library and disk cache storage options are available. The single server TOPAZ system is an ‘entry level’ system and performance is
governed by the number of simultaneous processes in the environment. Consult your Masstech representative for a complete design solution.
