Do robots dream of electric sheeps?
Matt:
Of course. And electric dogs, cats and mice. But not birds. Robots don’t trust birds.
castlemagazine:
Do you think we build robots to understand ourselves?
Is building humalike robots just a searching for our existence?
Matt:
When I draw robots, I always feel like they’re lost and lonely.
Full of wires and wheels, but missing a heart. I think a lot of humans
feel that way sometimes, so maybe we do see something of ourselves in robots
and perhaps that makes it easier to understand how we feel. I don’t know.
I think we should all be friends with the machines and see
if that makes us kinder to each other. I’m going to hug my washing machine now...
