A PERSONAL NOTE FROM THE CHAIRMAN I speak with gratitude in my heart to all who faithfully "carry on" the task of publishing the annual edition of the Saga of the Sanpitch. Each year I ask myself, "Will this be the last edition?" My question is answered with a host of willing volunteers: committee members, proofreaders, judges, salesmen, the Church, the press, radio stations, and perhaps most important, the writers. The prize money presented to authors is only a small token of appreciation for their countless hours of dedicated research and writing. I like to feel that we are all a united family of Sanpeters working for a common cause. May you find joy and satisfaction for your efforts and may all who read the "Saga" feel they are sharing a rare treasure of your creation.
