Dear Friends, 

In my closing comments at our Believe ’08 Convention in Nashville, 

I shared with all attendees the six promises that Marketing Executives can 

count on as they build their FreeLife business. These promises will give 

you a glimpse into what we believe in, give you a sense of what our future 

holds, and let you know how committed we are to helping you succeed. 

These are six things I would want to know if I were a FreeLife Marketing 

Executive who was looking to build a long-term business 

with FreeLife. 

So here are my top six promises to you: 

1. We will remain the leader in goji research and development for the 

foreseeable future. 

Our scientific research team is working every single day to bring us the 

latest developments and science relating to the goji berry. We will 

continue to launch new products–like Chi3 Energy and Daily Edge–that 

incorporate our scientific research into the goji berry whenever it can 

make the product superior to anything available. 

We will also be the leader in bringing you the most effective wellness 

products in every category, whether it’s heart health, eye health, or weight 

management. Our scientific team is committed to bringing you the most 

effective wellness products in every single category. 

Ever since my mom’s healing of osteoporosis in 1980, after two medical 

doctors told her nothing could be done to help her, this has been my 

passion in life–bringing people the most effective nutritional products so 

they, too, can live a long and healthy life without having to resort to 

pharmaceutical drugs that kill more than 300,000 people a year in the 

United States alone. 

And, we will bring these products to millions around the world.

While I will be the first to admit that we are not perfect and we make 

more than our fair share of mistakes, what I can promise is that we 

always learn from them and will always try to get better and better and

Each day, Kevin and I wake up in the morning and our total focus is,

4. We promise to reward those who serve others more than ever 

before! 

We are a company that believes in rewarding the producer, those who 

are best living our mission of “serving others.” Those Leaders who are 

going out there and serving others by helping them reach their goals, 

introducing them to our life-changing products, and helping them 

advance in title, will be rewarded more than ever before. Our new 

Compensation Plan announcements are a good reflection of how we 

are going to live our mission of rewarding those who are serving more 

than ever before. 

FreeLife is not a complicated business. The entire key to your success 

can be boiled down to three actions: enrolling new Marketing 

Executives, helping your new Marketing Executives achieve Star Director, 

and teaching your new Star Directors to duplicate this process. 

Three simple steps are the key to your success. But they must be done 

every single month, and you must be consistent about it if you want to 

be successful. 

I love the concept of residual income. It’s an extremely powerful 

concept. The concept of leveraging your efforts and earning from the 

production of others is magical. The concept of getting paid for 

prior production is one of the most compelling financial models I 

have ever seen. 

But I believe that some people have a false notion about residual 

income. They think residual income means doing something one time 

and then never having to cultivate, support, or work on it anymore. 

This is 100 percent completely false. 

There is no such thing as residual income if you don’t keep engaged 

in your business. If you’re not engaged in your business, if you don’t 

continue to enroll and duplicate, if you don’t support those in your 

Organization, your business will fritter away and you will not have any 

business at all. 

This is true in every type of residual income situation. An author of a 

book can’t just write a book and expect the book to sell forever. Maybe 

the author will make the bestseller list and sell 100,000 copies. That can 

mean a lot of money for the first few months. But if he does not continue 

to promote the book, if he doesn’t do updates to the book, and if he

doesn’t write his next book, his income will eventually go completely away. 

There is no residual income in just writing one book. 

A musician has the same issue. You can hit the top of music charts for a 

week, a month, or maybe a few months. But if you don’t keep promoting 

your music, going on tour, writing new songs, and coming out with new 

music, the royalties will eventually go to zero. The same applies with actors 

and actresses, with inventors, and with any other residual income type of 

situation. If you don’t continue to support, update, promote, produce new 

material, and engage in your business, it will eventually go to nothing. 

If Kevin and I and the Management Team stopped working every day, what 

do you think would happen to FreeLife? If we stopped developing new 

products, improving old products, finding new breakthroughs, hiring great 

people, coming up with new promotions and everything else we do every 

day, what do you think would happen to FreeLife? Very soon, we would not 

have much of a business anymore. 

So our promise to you is we won’t stop working, we 

won’t stop improving the Company–we won’t stop 

getting better and better and better. 

We also promise that we will reward those who 

serve others more than ever before. Keep sharing 

the good news of FreeLife, keep sharing our 

one-of-a-kind, health-enhancing products, keep 

enrolling new MEs, and keep helping your new 

enrollees advance in title and you will be richly 

rewarded for your efforts more than ever before. 

I’m also asking for all of our Leaders around the 

world to stay engaged in FreeLife. Live our mission 

of serving others. Serve others by helping them achieve the financial 

success that you have already achieved!

This year, FreeLife International turned 13 years old. That is quite an 

accomplishment for any company in Direct Selling. Ninety-five percent of 

Direct Selling companies are out of business within a few years...ninety-five 

percent!

statistics–that we would be a company built to last. A company you can 

count on to be here today, tomorrow, and 10, 20, 30 years from now.

From the moment his long-time friend CEO and Co-Founder Ray 

Faltinsky first approached him with the FreeLife concept in 

Danbury, Connecticut’s aptly named, “Rosy Tomorrows” restaurant, 

Keith embarked on a trailblazing journey that made a dream 

become a glaring reality. Not simply for himself, or for Ray or 

President and Co-Founder Kevin Fournier, but rather for a dream 

that has touched the lives of us all. 

Keith is quick to name people who were great assets to his achievements, 

individuals such as Warren and Mary Nelson and Dr. Matt

Silver. In fact, Keith would eagerly name a roster so 

lengthy that we would not have the space to print it in 

an article twice the size of this one! 

Keith explains the keys to his effectiveness. “Anything 

worth doing is worth doing right. Ray is a guy who has 

shown me that, time and time again. He doesn’t just 

run to win, he runs the Great Race.” Keith added, “I 

never believed rejection was anything reflective of 

‘me.’ Rather, one must be persistent and believe strongly, above all 

else. In the end, it is one’s posturing that makes them great. Our 

FreeLife vision does not ask that we beg.We have credibility.We are 

better served to identify those highly qualified. By this, I mean work 

hard to identify those people who have a positive attitude even after 

facing adversity. Those are the people deserving of what we have 

to offer.” 

When evaluating a day, or even an isolated experience, Keith asks 

himself one thing to measure his success, “Did I live on purpose? If I 

cannot answer ‘yes’ to that one, I failed.These days, I try to answer 

‘yes’ every time.” 


While he fulfilled most of his original goals, admittedly, 

some took a bit longer than he initially suspected. 

In retrospect, however, Keith says his goals 

changed over time. “Our goals are our purpose,” he 

explained. “They give meaning to our experiences.” 

As long as Keith continues to set goals, FreeLife cannot 

help but benefit from his selfless actions. 

For now, Keith reveals his most meaningful agenda. “Harvesting 

individuals who have fallen, but deserve to be leaders. ‘Fallen 

Eagles’ I call them.They are people who knew how to fly, deserve 

to fly, but somehow found themselves grounded. I want to get them 

off the turkey field and get them in the air again.They most often 

become the greatest leaders of all, because they are empowered by 

both knowledge and compassion. Ultimately, they have the greatest 

strength of character as they have seen all sides of life.” 

In the end, a conversation with Keith McEachern leaves you wanting 

more. He is the embodiment of two hard-to-find, yet somehow 

harmoniously blended attributes best described as “wisdom without 

judgment.” His energy is empowering and uplifting when in his 

presence. Whether done purposefully or unwittingly, the attitude 

and belief by which Keith operates is the ultimate model for any 

Marketing Executive, regardless of title, to emulate. 

He was the first Marketing Executive to catch the FreeLife vision 

back when FreeLife was little more than an idea. For that reason, 

FreeLife could not be more fortunate.And for that we congratulate

“Since we have achieved the title of Ambassador I 

Ruby,” explained Lubow and Victor Willman of 

Deutschland, “we have been very happy! We now know 

we are getting closer to our main goal.”They went on to 

say, “During the last 5 months, we have noticed a lot of 

positive change.We were able to turn down, for the first 

time in 13 years, other offers of employment without 

fearing the consequences.” 

New Ambassadors 

Robert John Guanzon 

“The key to my FreeLife success was the ability to ‘empty 

my cup,’” explained new Ambassador Robert John 

Guanzon from the Philippines. “I had to set aside most of 

the things I had learned previously to succeed in this 

business.” 

Robert went on to explain, “Patience, humility, and a

the Philippines, have definitely embraced the new-found

The Willmans are honest when they reflect back on their experiences. “We know 

we did not spark an interest in the FreeLife opportunity every time, and we used 

to feel bad. Now, we just move on. We try to keep in mind that everyone’s life 

presents its own challenges. Some have health issues, while others struggle with 

finance.” Lubow and Victor say the key is to be sincere. “We really do have a product 

and a business that can help overcome struggles in all areas of life.” These

to be ambitious and willing to communicate. “If they have those essentials, the 

team can guide them the rest of the way.” 

willingness to learn from your Upline are the characteristics you must develop to 

succeed as a new Marketing Executive. Learning was one thing, but applying what 

I learned was the initial challenge. Just think of your Upline as your FreeLife parents.They 

will point your way to success.” Robert insisted,“One must have a great 

deal of compassion and a willingness to help others.Those attributes will eventually 

get a ‘yes’ if they truly come from the heart.” For Robert, the other motivations 

for being involved with FreeLife are simple. “Having a healthy body and a 

debt-free life are the prizes.” 

The Rodrigos cited “determination and a willing spirit” as two of the key ingredients 

to success. They explained, “Receiving ‘no’s’ is the ultimate challenge. 

Together, we look for ways to turn each experience into a positive.The more we 

learn about overcoming obstacles, the more effective we are in helping our team 

reach their goals.” Olive and Ramolito pointed out some ideas regarding whom 

they target as potential Marketing Executives. “While a background in Direct 

Selling can definitely be beneficial at the onset, anyone who wants to succeed will 

ultimately do well.”
