The company
G.i.N. mbH was founded in 1991 and has been heavily involved
with industrial networks from the very outset.
Alongside development and production of data loggers and
tools for automotive use, another main focus is the provision
of engineering services for automotive projects.
Our products
The success of our products fulfi ls our customers requirement
for ensuring that the networking of their high-effi ciency systems
is as near as possible to fault free.
Methodical use of G.i.N tools enables stochastically or randomly
occurring malfunctions during communication, standby and wakeup
to be tracked down.
Our data loggers solve communication problems on CAN, LIN,
MOST and FlexRay bus systems.
A special feature is the LTL (Log Task Language) programming
language, which enables simple, but also very complex confi gurations.
Our services
Within the scope of our services, we can realize bespoke projects
and customizations (hardware, software and fi rmware) at any time.
The new data logger generation GL3000/GL4000
G.i.N. has developed a new multi processor platform to
support a parallel recording of several fast bus systems.
The new data logger generation is able to record and
handle synchronously the data of up to 8 CAN, 8 LIN
and 2 FlexRay channels.
In addition to the bus systems data numerous digital, analog
and serial signals can be recorded and together with the bus
data synchronously evaluated in real time within a few milliseconds
after the wakeup.
G.i.N. data loggers support the transfer of measuring data
via Ethernet and WLAN or UMTS. New confi gurations
can also be transferred in these ways to the test vehicles.
This offers global position independence for fl eet trials
and mobile endurance runs.
The delivered management software offers automated
data exchange between data logger and PC using modern
safety standards.
LogGraph is a convenient, zero-cost utility for displaying,
organising and effi ciently assessing recorded
measurement data.
This tool makes it easy to correlate measurement
data, signals, positions and audio-visual descriptions.
It is typically used to evaluate signals for vehicle speed,
engine speed and the vehicle electrical system voltage.
Applications
Displaying a user-selected signal (e.g. speed) as a plotted curve
in the main window
Displaying other signals (selectable) as curves in their own
windows, in the main window or on tabs
Adjusting the graphic style of the data display
Adjustable time and magnitude scales for every signal
Measuring the value and time at a specifi ed point
Measuring the difference in values and time interval between
two specifi ed points
Optional time synchronisation of the measured values for all
displayed signals
Displaying statistical data at start, end and duration of the
measuring session
Displaying statistical data about travel route
Displaying vehicle number and driver’s name
Generating and printing a report based on the logged data
Quality inspection
Advantages
Large measurement data fi les can be displayed
Compatible with Linux and Windows
