1 IT Services (ITS) Alfaisal Portal Login Guide
The following document will help the users in logging to the following web applications:
1. Alfaisal Portal Services
2. Alfaisal Email
3. E-learning (moodle)
4. Faculty Web Access (Only for Faculties)
5. Student Net Classroom (Only for Students)
6. Library Management System
1.Alfaisal Portal Services (news, applications,
services,…etc.)
The ‘Alfaisal Portal’ is the gateway for all web based applications. The students will be able
to see Announcements, Alfaisal Academic Calendar, Fees status with due date for fee
payment (if applicable), and many more services. The Portal is integrated with the Active
Directory, ERP, SIS and the LMS (Learning Management System) to facilitate single sign-on
service (i.e. you only need to remember only one Id and Password for most of the
applications you access).
Steps
1. To access the portal please click the following link http://portal.alfaisal.edu
2. Enter your Alfaisal User ID and Password as shown in the Image below

2. Alfaisal Email
Students can access their emails by clicking the Email Icon as shown in the figure below the
Icon is labeled as 1. User accessing email outside Alfaisal campus will have to enter the
Credentials again.
2 In order the change the password please click on the email Icon first and follow the
following steps shown in the images below.

3. E-Learning:
Students and Faculties can access Moodle by click the E-learning Icon labeled as 2 in the
above figure to access Moodle. Moodle too requires Alfaisal Email ID and Password to login.

4. Faculty Web Access (FWA):
This option is enabled only for Faculties. When FWA Icon labeled as 3 in the above figure is
clicked a new window would pop up as shown below and the username and Password to
access FWA will be provided by Student Affairs.

5. Netclassroom Portal
Netclassroom gives our students easy access to the Calendar, Assignments, Grades, Report
Cards. This service can be accessed by clicking the Netclassroom icon labeled as 4 in the

required for access shall be provided by Student Affairs.

6. Alfaisal Library Management System
Students could login to Alfaisal digital library by clicking on the Icon labeled as 5 in the
above Portal home page figure. The Library uses IP authentication and users will not be
required to enter any credentials as long as they access it from AU Campus
