the computer has really taken
over at my workplace. i work in
medical records and we are working
on an electronic medical record. i
have even done some of my work from my home.
What remains the same is the great patient care we
give at the University. i feel good telling people: ‘Why
not go to the University for your medical care?’
Unit educator on University Hospital’s 4 East
When starting with the University, my
plan was for temporary employment.
However, i began working with an exceptional
boss, Howard Kincaid, in human
resources. i held numerous positions, from
clerk to executive staff assistant with
Howard until he spoke of retiring. the University’s excellent
educational program beckoned and gave me the opportunity
to return to school, which i did at the sinclair school
of nursing. the University provides many opportunities to
staff who want to advance themselves.
