More protection with security
The GM 200 all-metal blind
The GM 200 unites all the best features of the all-metal blind and shows what is technically feasible nowadays. In addition
to the high demands on security, their modern, slightly rounded slat shape also corresponds to the aesthetic wishes of
architects and building owners. They fit in everywhere where increased security is required, for example in detached houses,
ground-floor apartments or business and administration buildings. The locking mechanism integrated into the lateral
guide rails makes life difficult for burglars. The lifting and tilting mechanisms are also located in the lateral guide rails.
If something is standing under the all-metal blind as it is moving down, the overrun protection fitted into the blind as
product protection will prevent any damage taking place.
Detachedhouse, Hünibach, GM 200

What makes them unique
– Stable, robust all-metal blind
– All mechanically stressedparts are
manufacturedfrom corrosion-free
metals
– No lifting tapes in the slat area
– Intrusion protection through the efficient
locking function in every position
– Goodinsulation anddarkening
properties
– Individually adjustable slat inclination
– Overrun protection that prevents
damage to the blind
– The slat shape has been specially
designed for resistance to buckling
Constructive highlights
– Roll-formedslats (0.6 mm thick,
90 mm wide) with noise-suppressing
inserts
– Slats supported in metal holders on
both sides andsecuredwith stainless
steel clips
– Slats can be replaced individually
from the inside
– End rail and guides made from
extruded aluminium, clear anodised,
available powder-coated or colour
anodised at extra charge
– Guides with noise-suppressing plastic
inserts
– A solid, maintenance-free roller chain
is usedin the lifting mechanism
– The tilting mechanism is made up of
stainless steel folding segments that
are integrated into the guides
Option
– Extruded slats, 1.1 mm thick,
90 mm wide
– Low-noise closing of the slats thanks
to shapedfelt strips
Colours on request: For an additional
charge, the slat clips and the slat holders
are also available with a colour
coating. This also applies to the lateral
guide rails andendrails.
Colours on request: For an extra
charge, the slats clips andthe slat
supports can be given a colour coating.
This also applies to the lateral guide
rails andendrails.
Drive
– Manual or motor drive: also available
with an electronic controller on
request
Flexible application
– Depending on the requirements for
use, the slats of the GM 200 can be
loweredin the inclination variants
Working Position «A», andthe Basic
Setting «G».
– The inclination «A» lowers the slats in
their angledposition of 37° for permanent,
optimal incident light. With the
inclination «G», the slats are lowered
in the almost closedposition of 70°.
This makes an immediate room darkening
possible.
• For apartments, private houses,
business and administration
buildings
• When increased security is
required
• Good insulation and high level
of darkening
• Very wind-stable
Automatically the highest level of security
6
GM 100 all-metal blinds
The GM 100 is the only forced-drive all-metal blind on the market. Its unique technology ensures that it will be automatically
locked in every position and at every slat inclination, thereby offering you the greatest possible security. Thanks to the rotating
roller chain in the lateral guides, the GM 100 can be set to any angle of inclination, and is therefore suitable for vertical and hori-
zontal applications in detached houses, ground-floor apartments, and commercial and administrative buildings. Its precise
mechanism ensures the highest level of operational reliability, while the stable slats that have been designed for maximum buck-
ling resistance can withstand maximum wind speeds.
The ideal blinds for working
12
VR 70 LO and VR 90 LO compact Venetian blinds
«LO» stands for Daylight Optimisation. In order to avoid annoying reflections, for example on computer screens, the
LO technique provides as much shadow as is necessary and as much light as possible. In order to achieve this effect,
the slats do not close uniformly: towards the bottom of the blind, the opening between the slats become continually
narrower, and continually wider towards the top.
ABB, Baden, VR 70 LO

What makes them unique
– Daylight optimised blinds are mainly
usedin business, school andadministration
buildings
– Increase the feeling of well-being
at the workplace
– Thanks to the optimal use of the
sources of light, energy can be saved,
because artificial light will then only
be used when the daylight is no
longer sufficient
– Daylight optimisation with comfortable
luminance distribution over the
complete room
– Continuous stepless transition of the
slat positions
Constructive highlights
– The openings of the slats become
continually wider towards the top
optimisation andreducedair
conditioning
– Mounting strap made from dirtrepellant,
age-resistant polyester
Drive
– Manual or motor drive: also available
with an electronic controller on
request
Sun protection with see-through
capability: The perforatedslats make
it possible to observe the outside world,
even when the blinds are lowered and
closed.
Daylight optimisation: Optimal light
yieldwithout annoying reflections
thanks to the unevenly opening slats:
narrower towards the bottom, wider
towards the top.
• For a good room and working
climate
• Energy-saving
• Avoids reflections on computer
screens
• Increases the feeling of well-being
Information for professionals

Reference objects
You can see the effect that our products
can have on an object – whether slat
blinds, roller blinds, fabric blinds,
indoor blinds, shutters or sun blinds –
thanks to dozens of reference objects.
Different architectural styles in various
regions and the wide range of available
colours will help you to imagine how
the desired blinds would look in your
own home.
Virtual model houses
Take a walk through an apartment, and
experience the ambience that Schenker
blinds can create in a room.
Try out the individual elements, change
the colours, lower and raise the blinds,
change their darkening level. Allow the
atmosphere of the room work on you
from different perspectives – our virtual
model house makes it possible to do this
from the comfort of your own home.
Technology in detail
At www.storen.ch, we have information
available for professionals. For example,
all the technical drawings of our products
can be downloaded or examined
… which can, of course, also be an
advantage for laypersons.
