| eyewiki 64 EyeWiki EyeWiki In our ongoing effort to help ophthalmologists around the world deliver the best possible eye care, the Academy — in close collaboration with several subspecialty and special interest societies — created EyeWiki. Just like the collaborative online encyclopedia Wikipedia, EyeWiki can be viewed and modified using any Web browser. EyeWiki has expanded significantly since its inception in July 2010, with more than half of the site’s visitors living outside the United States. Four hundred registered users have made more than 8,000 edits to the ever-growing library of articles. Contributing articles to EyeWiki is an easy way for you to give back to your profession and provide quality ophthalmic information for other ophthalmologists, medical students, patients and researchers around the world.
