Joanne Fischmann, B.A. psychology 1973,<br />
released her newest and seventh Hannah<br />
Swensen mystery, “Peach Cobbler Murder,”<br />
which is penned under the name Joanne<br />
Fluke. The Hannah Swensen series combines<br />
Joanne’s fascination with the mystery genre<br />
and her passion for baking. Each book features<br />

articles, publications and books, among them<br />
social studies textbooks for English learners.<br />
George (Joe) B. Epps, B.A. accounting 1976,<br />
is a partner and head<br />
of the new Phoenix,<br />
Ariz., office of RGL,<br />
Forensic Accountants<br />
& Consultants. RGL,<br />
an international firm<br />
with 25 offices worldwide,<br />
is one of the<br />
only accounting firms<br />
exclusively devoted<br />
to forensic accounting. Joe has more than<br />
27 years of forensic accounting and litigation<br />
support experience. Before joining RGL, he<br />
was principal of Epps & Associates, PLLC in<br />
Scottsdale.<br />

Peppino A. DeBiaso, B.A. political science<br />
1979, is the director<br />
for Missile Defense<br />
Policy in the Office<br />
of the Secretary of<br />
Defense, where he is<br />
responsible for formulating<br />
and implementing<br />
defense policies<br />
and plans for U.S. ballistic<br />
missile defense.<br />
He has spent the past 18 years in a variety<br />
of government positions, think tanks and<br />
academia. He earned a Ph.D. in international<br />
relations from USC and was a lecturer in<br />
<strong>CSUSB</strong>’s national security studies program<br />
from 1983-1985.<br />

D.C.-based law firm<br />

Lewis’s personal office staff as legislative assistant,<br />
legislative director and appropriations<br />
