4Lamella cassettes are used in actual or new settling tanks and clarifiers to<br />
further improve the separation process<br />
TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION<br />
4Because of the short settling distances of the particles and the controllable<br />
suspension flow, the sedimentation in the lamella separators proves to be the<br />
separation process which enables the reaching of significantly higher separating<br />
rates than the conventional types of sedimentation facilities<br />
4The lamella pack is designed from extruded, shaped plastic plates fixed together<br />
and inclined at 60° angle from horizontal. In a pack these plates create<br />
hexagonal tubes<br />
4The lamella pack is repeatedly inserted on a frame forming lamella cassette<br />
which makes it a part of the lamella separator<br />
