8 InsideOut December 2010<br />

On all <strong>the</strong> outside visits, <strong>the</strong><br />

cadets were excellent and several<br />

compliments were made about<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir smartness and behaviour.<br />

The Commercial Direc<strong>to</strong>r of<br />

<strong>the</strong> Submarine Museum was so<br />

impressed he walked <strong>to</strong> address<br />

<strong>the</strong> 19 cadets who visited and<br />

<strong>to</strong>ld <strong>the</strong>m <strong>the</strong>y were <strong>the</strong> best<br />

cadets he had seen in 10 years.<br />

That is quite a compliment!!.<br />

The CC Sqn Ldr Coats said, “It is<br />

pleasing <strong>to</strong> have compliments<br />

made about <strong>the</strong> cadets but<br />

<strong>the</strong> <strong>on</strong>e from <strong>the</strong> Submarine<br />

Museum was extra special. Our<br />

cadets and staff enjoy <strong>the</strong>se<br />

camps and <strong>the</strong>ir behaviour<br />

matches that and reflects well <strong>on</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong>ir units and <strong>this</strong> Wing. Once<br />

again <strong>the</strong> `light blue` footprint<br />

has been seen in <strong>the</strong> heart of <strong>the</strong><br />

Royal Navy and sh<strong>on</strong>e”.<br />

According <strong>to</strong> Duke of Edinburgh<br />

co-ordina<strong>to</strong>r, Helen Smail, “I’m so<br />

please at how <strong>the</strong> students did<br />

<strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> practice expediti<strong>on</strong> in <strong>the</strong><br />

Lake District. Their map<br />

reading skills improved<br />

immensely throughout <strong>the</strong> time<br />

and <strong>the</strong>y loved being in <strong>the</strong><br />

beautiful countryside. They had<br />

such a great time and want <strong>to</strong> go<br />

back <strong>to</strong> do <strong>the</strong>ir final expediti<strong>on</strong>!”<br />
