was alive with hobbyists and guests visiting the Exchange Club's annual hobby
show folr local school children. The show is divided into categories and aga
groups with winners selected in each division. The photo above shows young
Holly Campbell proudly displaying samples of her needlecraft hobby. Included
are crewel embroidery, macrame, sewing and others. She was awarded first
prize in Arts and Crafts for the fourth to sixth grades. The next photo shows
happy Debbie Thompson with her vast collection of dolls which also was
awarded a first prize in the fourth to sixth grade group. There are many dolls
depicting Indians, Royal Mounties, Japanese, hobo, and many, many others.
Marcia Kooker is a feline fancier and her collection of cats of all sizes shows it.
She added to the display with her real live cat. She also was in the fourth to sixth

ACC reports
on enrollment
Atlantic Community
College's part-time enrollment
for the current semester has
increased by 238 students over
the Fall Semester 1972, ACC
President Dr. Wallace B.
Appelson told the College's
Board of Trustees Tuesday
(Feb. 27) night.
ACC part-time enrollment for
the semester which began in
late January is 1,923. Fall
semester part-time enrollment
was 1,687.
ACC full-time enrollment for
the current semester is 1,302,
compared with 1,526 for the
Fall Semester. The decline in
full-time enrollment follows a
national trend. Dr. Appelson
said.
Of the part-time students, 453
are taking one or more noncredit
courses, 492 are taking
Atlantic City urban Center, and
117 are taking courses at ACC's
Hammonton Extension Center.
There are 13 full-time
students taking only non-credit
courses,' and 53 full-time
students at the Urban Center.
The remainder of the full-time
students are enrolled at ACC's
Mays Landing Campus.
Of the full-time students, 657
are male and 645 female. Of the
part-time students, 819 are
male and 1,104 female.
