From Paula Dicker Brayley ’80 — Hard
to believe we are heading towards our
30th reunion next year! Where does the
time go? My baby girl, Kayla ’09, just
graduated from Lee Academy, and so
did my son TJ in ’06. He now attends
Husson University and Kayla will attend
Beal College in the fall. I work as the
receptionist at good ‘ole LA; some of us
just have a hard time leaving!
I lost my husband of 20 years, Tom, in
May of 2005 due to complications from
an ATV accident and we have been
rebuilding our lives since, learning to
live and love again. I met a wonderful
man, Jerry De Keyser, who moved from
Wisconsin to be with us and make us a
family again.
Oh, and he
works at LA
too! I am
blessed and
so thankful to
be this happy
again. Life is
good!

From Earle Albert ’83 — Once
I left Winn I went to work for
the Deptartment of Corrections.
After 14 years I took an early
retirement. I am now a paramedic
working out of a base in
Rangeley, Maine. My family and
I live in nearby Liberty. I am the
dad of two boys Sergei, 15, and
Vadim, 13, as well as two great stepkids,
Katie, 15, and Andrew, 13. Its been a full
life so far!
From Candance O’Brien Gifford ’84
- Well, after 25 years of marriage, two
children and two grandchildren, I’ve finally
decided to take the time to go back
to college. My husband, Randy ’82, and
I have spent the last few months comitted
to getting into shape. I’ve lost 52
pounds and Randy is 30 pounds lighter!
We also took on the task of
remodeling, which turned into
a mammouth job!
the math team and have shared many
stories with my students about how
much I enjoyed being on the math team
while at Lee Academy (even if we did
have to wear those white polo shirts!). I
have fond memories of Bob Boulrisse.
He is one of the reasons I became a
math teacher as he instilled a deep love
of math.

Justo ’05 — I have lived in
Virgina for three and a half
years now and I work for
one of the community service
organizations assisting
adults who are mentally
disabled. I also own a photography
business with my
husband, Hysen. We were
married next to Glen Maury
River in Lexington, Virginia,
on January 15, 2008. Also, to those who
knew me as Brett, I officially changed
my first name to my childhood nickname
“Bretty” when I got married!

living in Old Town and attending
Beal College in Bangor, majoring
in Social and Human Services. After
working for 10 years with the elderly and
disabled I know now what I was meant
to do! I am the proud mom to 6-year-old
