Celebration At Boathouse<br />

A new shell for the Varsity crew will<br />

be christened the "John Lyon Collyer"<br />

by Mrs. Gollyer, May 24 at the new Gollyer<br />

Boathouse at 2:30, just before the<br />

races with Pennsylvania. Collyer '17,<br />

chairman of the <strong>University</strong> Board of<br />

Trustees and chairman and chief executive<br />

of The B. F. Goodrich Go., was<br />

stroke, captain, and coach of <strong>Cornell</strong><br />

crews as an undergraduate. He and Mrs.<br />

Collyer will present to President Deane<br />

W. Malott at that time the keys to the<br />

Collyer Boathouse that their gift of<br />

$200,000 made possible.<br />

Tent at Regatta<br />

CORNELL CLUB of Syracuse will have a<br />

tent at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association<br />

Regatta at Lake Onondaga, Saturday,<br />

June 21. All <strong>Cornell</strong>ians and their<br />

friends attending the Regatta are invited<br />

to visit and make their headquarters<br />

at the tent, which will be located<br />

near the entrance to the finish line area.<br />

Vance Harrison '50 of 300 Houston Avenue,<br />

Syracuse 10, is chairman for the occasion.<br />

Henry A. Moran '40 is president<br />
