First day of class Arrive at the Training Centre 30 minutes before the course is due to<br />
begin. Locate and meet the Global Training on-site administrator and/or<br />
the course instructor(s). Settle any outstanding administrative matters:<br />
fee payment, badge etc. Meet your fellow course participants. Enjoy the<br />
Global Training course<br />
Security clearance Course participants who take a tour of the airport, will need to obtain a<br />
Visitor pass from <strong>Kuala</strong> <strong>Lumpur</strong> International Airport (KLA) and must be<br />
accompanied by KLIA personnel at all times. The Visitor pass will be<br />
issued on site.<br />

Reservation process Global Training course participants are responsible for making their own<br />
hotel reservations by contacting one of the above mentioned hotels or<br />
making other arrangements. Each hotel will offer the best available rate.<br />
� General Travel Tips for Malaysia<br />
Visa requirements A valid passport (valid for at least six months from time of entry) is<br />
required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.<br />
No visa is required by nationals from Australia, Britain, other EU<br />
countries, Canada and the USA<br />
Nationals of Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal and<br />
Slovenia may stay visa-free for up to one month.<br />
All other nationalities must check with the closest Malaysian Consulate or<br />
Embassy regarding the latest visa requirements.<br />
Note: The above list is subject to change at short notice; please check<br />
with the Malaysian Consulate or Embassy closest to you before travelling.<br />
<strong>ACI</strong> Global Training will provide a letter of invitation upon payment of the<br />
registration fee. Please be sure to obtain your visa well in advance of<br />
your departure.<br />
Cell/Mobile phone systems In Malaysia, the cell phone standard used is the GSM standard (Global<br />
System for Mobile Communications).<br />
Electricity and plugs The electricity in Malaysia is 240volts and the frequency 50Hz. The<br />

Local currency and The local currency is called Ringgit Malaysia (RM). The currencies<br />
exchange facilities RM3.80 peg against the U.S. dollar imposed on Sept 1, 1998 was lifted<br />
on July 21, 2005. One ringgit comprises 100 sen. The currency comes in<br />
the form of both notes and coins. Ringgit banknotes are issued in the<br />
following denominations RM1, RM2, RM5, RM10, RM50 and RM100<br />
while coins are issued in one sen, five sen, 10 sen, 20 sen, 50 sen and<br />
RM1 denominations.<br />
