94 F airfield University recognizes its responsibility to provide access to a quality education for all students, and to provide particular support for those whose economic and social backgrounds present barriers to higher education. The Fairfield Awards Dinner, held annually to benefit the Alumni Multicultural Scholarship Fund, is one of many important sources of aid for students of African, Hispanic, Asian and Native American (AHANA) descent who have demonstrated financial need. Despite the challenging economic times, the 2009 Fairfield Award’s Dinner raised over $1 million for the scholarship.
