meets Yasha, the most enchanting girl he has ever encountered, and follows her
to her enclave in the middle of the wood. Caught between fairy-tale beauty and
the darkest depths of the human soul, the harmless carpenter becomes a ruthless
hunter. Popular author Antonia Michaelis is poetic in her telling of this captivating
story of a love for which no secret is too dark and no sacrifice too great. A true
storyteller’s masterpiece.
What was it like when Granny was little? Did television exist? And what
was her favourite food? Children want to know so much about their grandparents
and they, in turn, often know too little about their grandchildren’s
daily lives. In this shared memory book, both can enter the things that are
most important to them and so preserve their best memories in word and
pictures for all time. Because the two generations fill the album together,
it becomes a treasure that could never be bought. On 112 beautiful pages
in a child-appropriate four-colour design and with an opulent layout, a
host of questions invite grandparents and grandchildren to provide the
answers. The cover has slits especially for a cover photo. The perfect personal
present for Granny/Grandpa and grandchild!
Our Favorites
Books We Love!
The licence department presents:
Lippel's Dream
Renate
“This is my long-time favourite! The joy
of reading and the gift of friendship –
both open the eyes of Philipp - called
Lippel - to realize that the real world
is worth living in. It all starts with the
marvellous "Tales of 1,001 nights". I'm
very happy that we will have a sequel
this autumn.”
The Words of the
White Queen
Gabi
“It's this striking story about family
violence and the power to overcome
it, which I like best. Antonia Michaelis
ingeniously mixes fairytale with reality.
This touching novel for young adults
is a tribute to the power of words and
fantasy.”
Extraterrestrial is
Somewhere Else
Teresa
“I like the light and humorous way
'Extraterrestrial is Somewhere Else'
handles the topic of social differences.
It teaches curiosity, tolerance and selfdetermined
thinking when it comes
to the point of discovering the best
friends' real identity. This book truly
tells an extraordinary story of friendship.”
Turn-Me, Shake-Me,
Rock-Me Book
Katharina
“I love the Turn-Me, Shake-Me, Rock-
Me Book because of its endless creative
potential. Thirteen different art styles
and stories composed as one complete
story summed up in an adventurous
rollercoaster ride. A book that comes
alive in the hands of the child!”
