gives you a little taste of what <strong>Ribby</strong> <strong>Hall</strong> <strong>Village</strong> now has to offer.<br />
Following the opening of our Spa Hotel in August 2011, it’s hard<br />
to believe that a whole year has passed and yet so much has<br />
happened in that time - the European Football Championships<br />
are now a distant memory, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee has long gone, The Open Golf<br />
Championship at Lytham created a great buzz for a week in July and the Glorious Olympics<br />
are well and truly over.<br />
Looking back, I am extremely proud of our achievements during the past 18 years but particularly over<br />
the last 18 months. Our workforce has increased to 345 with another 130 people working within<br />
<strong>Ribby</strong> supporting our core business, a fact that I find gratifying, yet daunting! We also continue to<br />
trade with numerous local food and beverage suppliers and contractors.<br />
I am fortunate to have so many enthusiastic, talented and dedicated people working alongside me<br />
with a mindset of ‘we can always do better’ and I believe this has played a significant role in our<br />
continued success – despite the recession affecting so many holiday and leisure businesses.<br />
Recently I was very proud to see so many international sportsmen staying on The <strong>Village</strong> for The<br />
Open Golf and I am equally pleased that more and more local residents enjoy spending time here - it<br />
would be great to see this trend continue. We have an award-winning Health Club, Conference and<br />
Banqueting Facilities as well as a wide variety of excellent Restaurants and Bars, and a beautiful Spa<br />
Hotel - all available to non-residents.<br />
A warm welcome awaits everyone who visits our <strong>Village</strong> and we genuinely look forward to exceeding<br />
all your expectations during your time with us.<br />
