Resins of the POLYORGS type (IV, V, VI) are worth considering in sorption of
noble metal ions because of their high selectivity as well as chemical and thermal
stability. POLYORGS resins are produced by modification of commercially available
polyvinyle, polyacrylic and styrene-divinylbenzene matrices. They are widely
applied in the recovery of some noble metal ions from ores, rocks, minerals, and
waste waters.
