Resins of the POLYORGS type (IV, V, VI) are worth considering in sorption of<br />
noble metal ions because of their high selectivity as well as chemical and thermal<br />
stability. POLYORGS resins are produced by modification of commercially available<br />
polyvinyle, polyacrylic and styrene-divinylbenzene matrices. They are widely<br />
applied in the recovery of some noble metal ions from ores, rocks, minerals, and<br />
waste waters.<br />
