At the direction of Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans, the Criminal Division has created<br />

Supplemental Courts at the Criminal Court Building at 2600 S. California Ave. The mission of<br />

the Supplemental Courts is to help reduce delay and backlog in the active pending caseload of<br />

the Criminal Division. The new courts will increase the capacity of the Criminal Division in<br />

reaching national standards for felony courts including: standards on judicial caseloads,<br />

standards on the size of active pending caseloads and time sta.'1dards for the disposition of felony<br />

cases.<br />

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT on April 5 th and April 6 t \ at 2:00pm in Room 101 at the<br />

Criminal Court Building at 2600 S. California, Presiding Judge Paul P. Biebel, Jr. will transfer<br />

selected cases from their previously assigned judges to the judge assigned to the Supplemental<br />

Courts. The selection process will be done by computer randomization.<br />

A status hearing will be held by the newly assigned judge on every case assigned to the<br />

Supplemental Courts the week of April 11 th through April 15 th ,at 1 :00 pm in Room 10 1 at the<br />

Criminal Court Building at 2600 S. California. The supplemental judges will be assigned to<br />

courtroom 101 that week as follows:<br />

Judge Angela M. Petrone<br />

Judge Domenica A. Stephenson<br />

Judge Neera Walsh<br />
