KALTBLUT: In a person, what would you say is the
favourite body part, what part in people do you
find to be most photogenic and why?
JOSEPH: I love necks. When I photograph I prefer to
put the focus on the face. I like to shoot the people
from the side and not from a frontal point of view.
Looking at the photos from the “Corpus” series
I picked for this edition you can see that a lot of
the models are standing in an awry angle but with
their face turned towards me. Somehow I find that
the physicality of their bodies comes across much
stronger.... Or maybe it is because you get a better
view on the neck.
