Functions<br />
Linea <strong>3D</strong> is the new offset hinge for door profiles with groove,<br />
adjustable in three directions, to ensure constant and perfect<br />
alignment of the main body of the hinge in any lateral adjustment<br />
position. The hinge mounts without any need for machining, using<br />
steel plates inserted into the groove.<br />

Technical Features<br />
The hinge combines with the door and frame side hinge covers,<br />
available in all finish options.<br />
The lateral adjustment cartridge, which keeps the hinge bodies<br />
aligned even after lateral adjustment (a Giesse patent), is available in<br />
the high corrosion resistance GS Silver Plus finish.<br />
The hinge mounting plates, toothed to mount to both sides of the<br />
groove, ensure an excellent grip on the profile.<br />
The stiffening ribs of the plates ensure that they are not deformed<br />
when tightening the screws.<br />
The frame side hinge is equipped with supplementary reinforcing<br />
screws, to increase the unit's resistance to slipping.<br />
The thrust bearing between the frame and door side hinges is preassembled<br />
to the eccentric bush to facilitate installation.<br />
<strong>LINEA</strong> <strong>3D</strong> can be adjusted in three directions, after door installation:<br />
- lateral adjustment (±2 mm), done by setting the adjuster screw with<br />
a 4mm Allen key via the slot in the zamak cartridge.<br />
Giesse's patented adjuster ensures the hinge bodies are kept in line<br />
with each other.<br />
- vertical adjustment (-2/+4 mm), done with the door lift block (p/n<br />
00570, available separately), which mounts to the top door side<br />
hinge with self-tapping screws.<br />
The door is raised by adjusting the screw with a 4 mm Allen key.<br />
- pressure adjustment (± 0.5 mm), done by rotating the eccentric<br />
bush on the frame side hinge with special wrench p/n 03900.<br />
