1. Not detected. The detection limit varies between the different laboratories but is<br />
assumed to be 0.2 mg/kg or lower.<br />

benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, <strong>and</strong> chrysene.<br />
BAuA (2010) does not <strong>in</strong> general go <strong>in</strong>to details concern<strong>in</strong>g the specific<br />
<strong>products</strong>. However, it has been possible to identify the follow<strong>in</strong>g list of <strong>toys</strong><br />
<strong>and</strong> <strong>childcare</strong> articles. In all the below mentioned categories there were found<br />
<strong>products</strong> with elevated or strongly elevated PAH levels <strong>in</strong> some of the<br />
<strong>in</strong>vestigated <strong>products</strong> (TÛV Rhe<strong>in</strong>l<strong>and</strong>, Stiftung Warentest <strong>and</strong> ÔKO-<br />
TEST). Accord<strong>in</strong>g to BAuA elevated PAH level is def<strong>in</strong>ed as >0.1 mg/kg Σ<br />
<strong>PAHs</strong> <strong>and</strong> strongly elevated level as >1 mg/kg Σ <strong>PAHs</strong>. The Σ <strong>PAHs</strong> is<br />
def<strong>in</strong>ed as the sum of 24 <strong>PAHs</strong>. It is not specified what 24 <strong>PAHs</strong> that are<br />
<strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> the sum.<br />
