Detoxification is an act of courage, love, kindness, and respect for<br />

oneself. The rewards are extraordinary, but so are the challenges.<br />

Understanding from the beginning exactly what is detoxification will<br />

allow you to concentrate, and this concentration will give you the<br />

necessary strength.<br />

Can you identify with any of this?<br />

Constipation, exhaustion, cholesterol, headaches, stomachaches, joint<br />

pain, heartburn, inflammation, gas, nervousness, insomnia, fear, and lack<br />

of mental clarity tell us that our body have too much toxin, that the<br />

normal channels for cleansing are blocked by a buildup of toxin over a<br />

long period of time.<br />

Consuming foods that contain hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, and<br />

processed foods with high levels of sugar, salt, and seasoning, don´t<br />

merely irritate our organs, but also affect our digestion and diminish our<br />

body´s ability to assimilate nutrients.<br />

Detoxification is the grand cleaning of our internal organs, the liver,<br />

kidneys, intestines, colon, and other vital organs. The blood flow, lymph<br />

system, circulatory system, and the cleansing of sick, dead, oxidized cells<br />

are removed as they have remained in our system for too long.<br />

DETOX OF MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT<br />

Detoxification works from the inside out. Eliminating these built up toxins<br />

also allows us to eliminate unhealthy eating habits, old ways of thinking<br />

and relating, freeing us from negative and self destructive thoughts, and<br />

setting aside our stress, anger, hatred, resentment, and old pains.<br />

“Out with the old, in with the new” is the battle cry of detoxification.<br />

“Love, respect, and detoxify yourself and you will reap great rewards.”<br />

Energy, vitality, and a healthy mind, body and spirit … your body will<br />

thank you.<br />

TIPS FOR DETOXIFICATION<br />

1. Start your day with positive thoughts.<br />

2. On an empty stomach, drink 16 ounces of warm, distilled water.<br />

3. Breakfast: 4 – 5 ounces of fruit. It is recommended that you start<br />

with just one kind of fruit. You may<br />

substitute juice, preferable fresh and homemade.<br />

4. Meals: salad without dressing, steamed vegetables or vegetable<br />

consommé.<br />

5. Dinner: salad or vegetable consommé.<br />

6. Drink at eight ounces of water at least eight times a day.<br />

7. Light exercise is very important for at least 30 minutes.<br />

8. End your day with self-gratitude for having begun a healthy lifestyle.
