Future Latinamerican Space Conference
A latinamerican space meeting is being organized by aerospace colleagues from Colombia, Brasil, and
other nations. The final date is still to be defined, but it is meant to occur in October or November
2011. The meeting will discuss possible joint latin american aerospace research projects. If you want
to be part of this effort, led by Dr. Thais Russomano, please contact Ricardo Cardoso at

IAASM 2010 - Singapur
For the very first time, the Asia‐Pacific
Congress of Aerospace Medicine (APCAM)
was held in conjunction with the 58th
International Congress of Aviation and
Space Medicine (ICASM) at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, 10‐14 Ocotber 2010. Organised under the auspices of the
Asia‐Pacific Federation of Aerospace Medical Associations, the 7th APCAM brought to the Congress an expanded
participation of practitioners from the Asia‐Pacific region, in which aviation activities are expected to grow exponentially
in the coming years. The Congress was the ideal platform to develop deeper engagements between aerospace medicine
