1 OBJETO Y CAMPO <strong>DE</strong> APLICACION<br />

Esta especificación cubre los requisitos que deben tener los ánodos de aleación<br />

de magnesio (<strong>Mg</strong>) fundido, utilizados por la Industria Petrolera, Petroquímica y<br />

Carbonífera Nacional (IPPCN), diseñados principalmente para usarlos en<br />

protección catódica (protectores galvánicos) en la forma de perfiles extruídos,<br />

incluyendo características de diseño y fabricación del núcleo para propósitos de<br />

montaje.<br />
