INSTRUCTIONS FOR END-OF-LIFE DISPOSAL TREATMENT<br />

This product complies with EU Directive 2002/96/EC.<br />

The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be<br />

treated as household waste.<br />

Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical<br />

and electronic equipment. Alternatively, it may be taken back to the shop at the time a new<br />

equivalent product is purchased.<br />

Problem<br />

Coffee is not warm enough. The machine has not completed<br />

warm-up.<br />

The espresso coffee is no longer<br />

dispensed.<br />

The cappuccino is not very frothy. Milk is not cold enough.<br />

Possible cause Solution<br />

Lack of water in the tank.<br />

Filter-holder cup is clogged.<br />

The steam spout is clogged.<br />

Wait for the coffee switch to be<br />

illuminated.<br />

Fill the tank with water.<br />

See “Shortage of Water” section.<br />

Insert the filter without a cartridge,<br />

press the coffee switch and dispense<br />

hot water for a few seconds.<br />

Always use milk at fridge<br />

temperature.<br />

Clean the steam spout and the milk<br />

frother using a damp cloth.
