3 Preparation
3.1 Power supply
– Make sure that the switch 8 is set to position “0”.
– Connect the power plug to a 220/230 V socket.
3.2 Round brushes
The round brushes are used to dry and style hair at
the same time.
You are supplied with:
• 1 round brush with a metal
tube (Ø 20 mm with bristle
retraction, for small curls)
• 1 round brush with a metal
tube (Ø 30 mm with bristle
retraction, for medium-sized
curls)
• 1 round brush with a metal
tube (Ø 38 mm without bristle
retraction, for large curls)
• 1 round brush with mixed
bristles (Ø 12 mm without
bristle retraction, for small
curls)
Fit round brushes
The round brush are attached to the Curl Styler
with a bayonet catch.
1. Fit the round brush to the
Curl Styler so that the dot on
the catch is opposite the
arrow on the Curl Styler.
2. Turn the round brush so that
the two arrows are opposite
each other. You will then hear
the round brush snap into
place.
Remove round brushes
DANGER: After the appliance has been
used for a long time, the metal sleeve of
the brush may be hot. You should let the
appliance cool down for a while.
– Hold down the unlocking
button 4 and then turn the
round brush so that the dot
on the catch is opposite the
arrow on the Curl Styler. The
brush is now unlocked and
can be detached.
