Instrucciones para Autores y Procedimiento <strong>de</strong> Selección<br />
between 4,500 and 5,000 words long, although this may be subject to a certain<br />
<strong>de</strong>gree of flexibility <strong>de</strong>pending on the nature of the subject.<br />
- Each article must be prece<strong>de</strong>d by an abstract of no more than one hundred<br />
words in the original language of the article. The category in which the article is<br />
inclu<strong>de</strong>d must also be specified: area of knowledge (6) and perspective from which<br />
the subject is being addressed (theory, application, case study). You must also state<br />
how the work is classified according to the Journal of Economic Literature’s<br />
<strong>de</strong>scriptors.<br />
- The author’s or authors’ name(s) may not appear anywhere in the article.<br />
This facilitates the evaluation process since the data will be inclu<strong>de</strong>d in the digital<br />
form.<br />
- The title of the work must be inclu<strong>de</strong>d in the original. Originals must be presented<br />
in digital format – either in Word or in a Word-compatible format – and be sent<br />
electronically (gcg.universia.net). Authors must fill out their <strong>de</strong>tails on the<br />
electronic record, specifying the area un<strong>de</strong>r study. Authors will receive an<br />
acknowledgement of receipt of their work as soon as they have entered all<br />
the information in the article management form.<br />
- Bibliographic references must be inclu<strong>de</strong>d in the text, indicating the author’s<br />
name, date of publication, letter and page. Years must be followed by a letter only<br />
when citing works by the same author and from the same year. Works mentioned in<br />
the text must be cited at the end of the article as stipulated in the ISO 690/1987<br />
standard and its equivalent Spanish standard UNE 50-104-94, which lay down the<br />
criteria for presenting bibliographic references:<br />

- The journal reserves the right to formally edit the articles and to separate<br />
particularly relevant parts thereof and put them in boxes, always in accordance with<br />
the spirit of the original. Authors will be given the chance to authorize the final format<br />
of their articles prior to publication.<br />
- Authors must be willing to assign all the benefits of their copyright to the journal.<br />
- Responsibility for <strong>de</strong>ciding whether the article is fit for publication lies with the<br />
Editor-in-Chief. If this is the case, the Editor-in-Chief will send it to the relevant area<br />
director.<br />
