Preparation of the International seminar for August 12- 13 -14.
Participation in Mission Aquarius SAC-D, in the meeting of the NASA, with
the purpose of incorporating the GLOBE Program Soil Moisture Protocol to
this activity.
June:
Environment Day Celebration at the Secretariat of Science and Technology.
Event presided over by Secretary Tulio Del Bono and the Deputy Chief of
Mission Hugo Llorens of the United States Embassy in Argentina.
July:
25-30: Presentation of the Argentine GLOBE Program on the 8 th Annual
GLOBE Conference: The next Ten Years Boulder, Colorado.
August:
12 - 14: “GLOBE Program Train the Trainer International Workshop”,
Teachers from the Provinces of: Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, San Luis, Rio Negro,
Santiago del Estero, Tierra del Fuego, La Rioja, Santa Cruz and Mendoza,
and the City of Buenos Aires.
September:
Participation at National Contest “Convocatoria a Instituciones Académicas
para el Programa de Mejora de la Calidad de la Escuela Media.”
Contest of Projects of Support to the schools in secondary school children
EGB3, Polimodal, to apply in five schools, three of them needy.
October:
Support to the Science Week, instituted by the Secretary of science Technology
and Productive Innovation.
12/10 Course of Phenology to the GLOBE Schools, which took place in the
“Japanese Garden”.
