Current Research Interest
The research areas are: “Best management strategies for sustainable organic wastes
utilization in agriculture” and “Soil fertility and quality: impacts and response on plants and
food quality, and improvements through land rehabilitation”. The main objective is to study
the impact of the organic matter management on soil microbiota. Biochemical and
molecular techniques used in environmental studies are useful to detect changes in the soil
microbial communities structure.
