was more spread and effective on whiteflies on tomato in all sites. Totalimmature development period of B. <strong>tabaci</strong> was shorter (13.8 ±1.8 days)on eggplant at 32±1 °C and longer (19.3 ± 1.8) days on pepper at 27 ± 1°C. B. <strong>tabaci</strong> adult female life period was 19.3 ± 1.8 and 24.9 ±3.3 daysat 30 and 25 ± 1 °C respectively. Net reproductive rate (R0) and intrinsicrate of increase r m were the highest (144.31 femal and 0.334 female/female/ day respectively) when reared on tomato in agar at 27± 1 °C.All larvae of S. parcesetosum died when reared on tobacco (Baladyvariety) as prey host plant. Adult mean life periods were 99.1 and 85.7days for female and male respectively when reared on eggplant andtomato. Net reproductive rate (R0) and intrinsic rate of increase r m werethe highest (174.14 and 0.121 female/ female on eggplant and cucumberrespectively) at 27± 1 °C. Mean consumption by predator larvae throughtheir development was 311.7 pupae of B. <strong>tabaci</strong> at 32±1°C.Populations of B. <strong>tabaci</strong> were controlled after seven and nineweeks of the release of S. parcesetosum in cages and open fieldrespectively. Population density of B. <strong>tabaci</strong> decreased significantly aftereleven weeks of the release of the predator S. parcesetosum and theparasite E. mundus together, while it increased in the control and whenthe parasite was released alone at 28.8 °C.Population density of B. <strong>tabaci</strong> also decreased significantly from77.9 to 4 stages after nine weeks of the release of E. mundus at 17.6 °C.
