REVISTA LITERARIA 2017 - COLEGIO VALLES

I am in front of the school and I feel
nauseous and worried.
I don´t want to release the hand of
my Mom.
It´s six o´clock and my Mom tells
me
To get up.
I feel nervous and nauseous,
Because today is my first day.
First, I take a shower.
Then I put my uniform on,
With my shiny shoes.
Then, my Mom makes a hairstyle
for me.
When I get to the kitchen
I feel a delicious smell and it´s
because
My Mom has already prepared a
delicious breakfast.
Finally, I brush my teeth and I´m
ready to go to school.
All the children are looking at me
and making gestures.
The teacher welcomes me to
kinder garden and in this moment
my Mom stops holding my hand.
I feel alone and I have a knot in my
throat.
I start crying
My teacher tells me “nothing
wrong is going to happen”,
And introduces me to my new
classmates: “Say hello”!
But I don´t know where my desk is.
I don´t know if I like the kids, or if
they´ll play with me.
But a girl says hello and I start
talking,
And at that moment I feel calmed
I go with my Mom and I don´t want
to release her.
My Mom sees me nervous and tells
me not to worry.
And I start to make friends,
That´s why I´ll never forget the
Kinder garden.
But I´m scared of this experience
and of meeting new persons.
