Psiconeuroinmunología para la práctica clínica
ocurren en el asma y otras alergias. El estrés sicológico se debe considerar
como un contaminante social, que al ser percibido interrumpe una serie
de vías fisiológicas, similar a como lo hacen los contaminantes del aire
y otros tóxicos físicos que aumentan el riesgo de sufrir atopia. El estrés
puede tener influencias independientes, como lo harían los alérgenos u
otros agentes etiológicos, pero que al final convergen a través de vías y
respuestas neuroinmunes, influenciando la evolución de los estados atópicos
y su posible control 24 .
