Symbol Description of possible operating status
Pump operated in control mode ∆p-c by the serial data interface (see chap. 4.4). “On/off”
function not activated at module. Only , , optimisation, “acknowledge error” can
still be set at module. Exception, for pumps with P1 < 500 W (see rating plate) errors can
only be acknowledged at the module. PLR mode can be interrupted via the IR monitor (for
tests, for reading out data).
Differential pressure set value set to H = 9.0 m.
Pump set to a constant speed (1.800 RPM in this case) – regulator mode.
Control system ∆p-c, regulated to constant differential pressure set value (Fig. 3).
Control system ∆p-v, regulated to variable differential pressure set value (Fig. 4).
The regulator mode control system deactivates the module regulations.
The speed of the pump is kept at a constant value between 800 and 2800 RPM.
The speed is set internally using the tuning button.
Regulator mode activated, speed of pump set via the input 0…10 V (only applies to P1 10 V ≥ 500 W). The tuning button now has no set value input function.
Control system ∆p-T, regulated to temperature dependent differential pressure set values
(Fig. 5). The maximum set value HSmax. is displayed. This control system can only be
activated via the IR monitor.
on Pump switched on.
off Pump switched off.
Operating the tuning button: (Fig. 2, pos. 5) Starting
with the basic setting, the setting menu (for the first
menu: Press for longer than one second) the setting
menus can be selected one after the other in a specific
order. The relevant symbol blinks. By turning the
button to the left or to the right the parameters on the
display can be altered up or down. The symbol which
has just been set blinks. The new setting is stored by
pressing the button. Following this, the unit switches
over to the next menu.
The set value (differential pressure and speed) in the
basic setting can be altered by turning the tuning
button. The new value blinks. The new setting is
stored by pressing the button.
Should the new setting not be stored, the basic
setting will appear after 30 seconds.
The following menus appear one after the other when operating the displays of the single pump:
Single pump mode: Setting when starting up for the first time/Menu order during standard use
LC display Setting
After switching on the module, all symbols appear on the display for
2 seconds. The current setting ➁ then appears.
Current (basic) setting (preset):
auto ➝ Night-time mode possible
Pump running in standard mode
missing➝ Single pump
e.g. H 5.0 m ➝ Nominal pump lift H S = 5.0 m and 1 /2 H max.
(preset depends on pump)
