Les modèles à pignon ou en appentis sont présents sur certaines maisons québécoises d'inspiration néoclassique. Les maisons issues du courant vernaculaire américain sont souvent particularisées par une lucarne centrale, parfois pendante. Elle est parfois quasi monumentale et dotée de retours de corniche. Ce type de lucarne est particulièrement fréquent dans portion sud de la MRC. Lucarne centrale à retours de corniche, typique de la MRC de Rivière-du-Loup. 218, rue Principale, Saint- Arsène.
