Is the cooktop grounded?<br />
Check that the connection through conduit is not accessible via cupboard doors or drawers.<br />
Is the cooktop clamped down securely?<br />
Make sure the cooktop is clean and free from any debris. Wipe with a clean damp cloth if<br />
necessary.<br />
Check that all the cooking zones function correctly. Turn on all of them to a high setting and<br />
leave them on for at least one minute. Are all elements glowing?<br />
Is the ‘On’ indicator glowing?<br />
Are all the ‘Hot surface’ indicators glowing?<br />
Have you shown the customer how to use the cookop? Make sure you explain to the customer<br />
about the ‘Hot surface’ and ‘On’ indicators and the importance of taking note of the safety<br />
warnings at the beginning of this manual.<br />
