Assembly<br />
Install the valve adapter assembly, screwing it in clockwise, until the<br />
adapter body contacts the valve body. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. A pair of<br />
pliers is adequate <strong>for</strong> this step; pipe wrenches exert too much <strong>for</strong>ce and may<br />
damage the adapter. VERY IMPORTANT– Do not use any pipe dope, WD-<br />
40 or tape on the adapter threads. The bleed ports (holes) just above the<br />
threads can become clogged and prevent operation.<br />
Now follow procedures 4 and 5 under "Installation and Wiring of<br />
Valves" to reactivate the valve.<br />
