<strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s Clampless Installation InformationRecommendations for Installers and Users:<strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s should be used on systems that are engineered, installed, andoperated in accordance with established design and engineering standards and proceduresfor polyethylene piping systems. Installers are responsible for determiningthe suitability of using <strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s in the selected polyethylene piping systemprior to installation. Before installing, all <strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s and polyethylene pipeshould be inspected for damage or irregularities. All <strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s must havetwo black o-rings (or one green O-ring outside and one black O-ring inside) and onegreen lock ring per <strong>Fitting</strong> end. Check to assure that tolerances of the polyethylenepipe and <strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s are compatible. Do not use any <strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s orpoly pipe that appear irregular or do not fit properly. Consult all applicable codes andregulations for compliance prior to installation. <strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong> <strong>Fitting</strong>s can be used onall NSF polyethylene pipe.THREADED CONNECTIONS - WARNING: SOME PIPE JOINT COMPOUNDSOR TEFLON PASTES MAY CONTAIN SUBSTANCES THAT COULD CAUSESTRESS CRACKING OR DETERIORATION TO BLAZING FAST FITTINGS.<strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Products</strong> only recommends using Teflon Tape for threaded connections. DONOT USE Liquid Teflon or other types of Pipe Dope. 1 to 2 turns beyond finger tightis generally all that is required to make a sound plastic threaded connection. Unnecessaryover tightening will cause damage to the polyethylene pipe and <strong>Blazing</strong> <strong>Fast</strong><strong>Fitting</strong>s.NOT FOR USE WITH COMPRESSED AIR OR GASWARNING: DO NOT USE COMPRESSED AIR OR GAS TO TEST BLAZING FAST FITTINGSOR SYSTEMS, AND DO NOT USE DEVICES PROPELLED BY COMPRESSED AIR OR GAS TOCLEAR SYSTEMS.
