Résumé<br />
Cet artic<strong>le</strong> présente divers aspects liés à l'étude expérimenta<strong>le</strong> de la bifurcation<br />
dans <strong>le</strong>s roches. Dans un premier temps, il présente un catalogue des différentes<br />
techniques expérimenta<strong>le</strong>s pour détecter la bifurcation puis il <strong>le</strong>s compare.<br />
Dans un second temps, une étude de 29 tests triaxiaux sur un grès est<br />
présentée. Les applications industriel<strong>le</strong>s de ces méthodes sont soulignées.<br />
Abstract<br />
This paper presents various aspects of the experimental study of bifurcation<br />
in rocks. Firstly, it presents a review of the various experimental techniques<br />
used to detect bifurcation and compares the results they give. Second, a series<br />
of 29 triaxial tests on a sandstone is presented as an application. Industrial applications<br />
are emphasized.<br />
